And now we see the astronomical pay rises they awarded themselves. The CAMHS workers who are stretched to the max and spend most of their time at the urgent end of mental health for our young can only dream of these salaries.

Looking at our wee corner of the world, I suspect some of our newly-minted local board peeps might be about to find out how little power and money local boards have. Especially next year when the funding squeeze comes in earnest and they have to start making service cuts.
