lrb - Blaster Master does this too. Despite your character being the tiny deployable one who rides around in the much bigger tank, it has "small guy who explores smaller areas" energy and not "vehicle game" energy

oh yeah i had to get a new TV for a place i moved right on the cusp of this nonsense, didn't have an old one to bring with me

kinda dodged a bullet, its got "smart" features but i can just leave it disconnected

i think the easiest way to avoid them now is getting like a commercial display tv

sorry, feel like ill always be just a little bit insufferable when creatures bring up tunic, i can't imagine it ever not being one of my top games ever, in the same league as star control 2, la mulana, outer wilds

it *still* gets me how the game is just like an absolute masterclass in understanding player psychology and what they're probably going to see and do next and playing with that (not to spoil anything, i was just saying "oh shit, i could always have done that??" like every five minutes for a while)

i think i found a lot of stuff in the game (including this) pretty easily but mostly because it just kinda felt like the game and i were speaking the same design language the whole time (no pun intended (although i was able to sight read the text without references by the end))

I went to the Minnesota zoo Jack o' lantern show tonight with @tormod.dog and I'm always blown away by how good the art is and the variety of subjects. They let the artists do whatever, which leads to things like a Fatal Frame fanart pumpkin, which rocks. One of my favorite events of the year.
