Goodwill is required to make a bounceback and actually recover. If not goodwill, then you need to actually add a shitton for free, instead of just fixing what was broken.
Gamefreak have no good will, and they sure as hell aren’t gonna add a fuckton of free content they COULD be selling as DLC.

Problem with the Pokemon budget discourse is that people seem unable to consider that "Western AAA is unsustainably overbudgeted" and "Pokemon shouldn't have a smaller budget than Hundred Line" are two statements which can be true at the same time.

I was just using that as an example because it is actually shown torn apart, and asuka isnt. If they made a figure of Asuka screaming with her hand to her eye after 02 gets pierced through the head by a spear I would also find it about as (in)offensive
