I was just using that as an example because it is actually shown torn apart, and asuka isnt. If they made a figure of Asuka screaming with her hand to her eye after 02 gets pierced through the head by a spear I would also find it about as (in)offensive

It’s not ghoulish, it’s neutral. Nobody is being harmed by an edgy figurine from an edgy game, and they don’t have to donate their earnings to charity to make it ok, because it was already ok.

There really isn't much else to say about Coolscar except they are hands down, the best character in Homestuck, bar none.

They’re silly fanservice designs, which is imo very fitting for this concept
The Alternia ancestors were already intentionally silly and fanservice-y and the dancestors are (for the most part) barely even characters
Frankly, this is better than I would’ve expected

Darkleer and Mindfang have much more in common with Equius and Vriska than their actual Beforus counterparts
