On the topic of how piss poor games preservation is right now, if you're game company has a game people repeatedly ask you to port, just fucking do it.
It is never hard enough to justify not doing it.
You gain nothing from not paying ball with your customers.

As the lead of Doom's most popular source port.

Look, I get that there are people who are sentimental about this game. And those who admire what it could have been. I am both of those to be honest.

But I'm sorry. There's a good reason why this game is often considered the start of the series lowering average trajectory.
