Like...this line up is like...what? Amazing? I was wandering around Chicago in the dark last night thinking "I can't believe my work is gonna be next to their's" on repeat. Some of these folks are my biggest inspos. WTF.
MEGADAMAGE is the annual Mothership megazine. Inside we have short fiction, articles, interviews, comics, and so much more in an oversized (11x12.4") deluxe magazine format. Partisan: A brand new comic from Adam Szym, the ignatz-nominated creator of Little Visitor & Other Abductions. A new short story by Brian Evenson, author of A Collapse of Horses and multiple Shirley Jackson award nominee. Brian's work was one of the main inspirations for Mothership, the fact that we're getting to work with him is a dream come true. The best science fiction world building that came out last year wasn't a film or a book, it was an art show. An interview with Alex Degen on his haunting, disturbing work Value Palace by the incredible, Sean McTiernan (Live at the Death Factory, SF-Ultra). A brand new comic from the incomprable Marie Enger (Death to the Wizard Kings, Casketland). A new short piece by transgressive/gothic/erotic author Astrid Anne Rose (BOMB Magazine, in The New Lesbian Pulp). Lunar Greenhouse, a psionic awakening by the incredible cartoonist, Jake Butcher. A brand new comic from Lukasz Kowalczuk (To Hell and Galenback). And much, much more!
