I talk about advertising, unionisation, and gaming a lot. I have fur babies and food comas. Prone to an occasional rant (soz).

"You look like Tim Burton drew you" is the best insult I've ever heard.

I leave little uplifting reminders for myself on my desk.

Reeves says she’s looking at tax rises ahead of the budget.

If it isn’t a very clear wealth tax, then they are fucked and so are we.

Tax the rich or get used to fascism.

Simple as that.

Covid was a wasted opportunity. During lockdown the climate of earth drastically improved, outdated work practices were uprooted & people had time for their own lives. It's a shame none of that continued.

100% it would. They are incredibly beautiful, which would make daily cooking feel different. Maybe it's a one pan at a time strategy to get a few? A sauté pan or frying pan to start out would probably get the most use.

I would love to get some Hestan pans, but how could you possibly justify spending £500 on a single pan when you're not a millionaire or running a restaurant?

It's a step above for heat retention and distribution versus anything high street (e.g. Le Cruset), but it's really unjustifiable, right?

Was meant to have a lazy day, so naturally I decided to sharpen all of my knives on two whet stones and then cook aubergine parm, the most labour intensive dish known to man.

People who complain that chicken is bland unless it's been covered in a ton of spices simply do not know how to cook.

I love how mad Trump and the MAGA lot get about him not winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

They’re so desperate for validation. So desperate to be told they’re good people.

Its wonderful watching them consistently suffer as outsiders to a party they’ll never be invited to.

It’s sad that when you’re a kid, you assume grown ups are smart and know everything, but when you grow up, you realise that they’re all fucking idiots.

Wife teaches primary.

Was explaining to her kids about misinformation and "you can't trust all sources".

Kid went home and picked up a can of tomato sauce and asked mum, "Is this a lying sauce, mum?"

Wife and Mum realised what had happened at parents' evening and rolled around laughing about it!

I know. I was saying the other day, it's 'hate scrolling' for me.

I go there in a masochistic spiral, mainly, and then come here to complain about it. Pathetic on all sides, to be fair.

Hmmm that sounds like it could be true but probably isn’t

But essentially you’re saying, “you get loads of self indulgent assholes because you are one”

I’d buy that. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I can't tell if half of LinkedIn is on cocaine, or if it's just people who grew up being told they were special every five minutes.

I really love the idea of Jamie Oliver washing a bunch of carrots in his washing machine like it's a normal thing to do.

What the fuck has Jamie Oliver got to do with washing machines?
