One of the things I appreciate about 'Dark Romance' is that it /is/ self aware. Not since I have watched Ping Pong tbe Animation as a teenager have I experienced a sports anime that grips you by the shoulders and makes you think about your mortality.

Why do we run? Why do we compete? Why do we do literally anything? To win? To be the best? Who fucking cares because its lonely at the top. We need stimulation. We need something, anything to drive us. We are born, we live, we die, but within this life we find meaning. It can be anything but do not let anyone determine how you can live your own life.

Fantastic music, a solid storyline, incredible themes and animation, this one's an instant classic. Don't know what else I can say, genuinely.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Rana. Rana was studying to work in a medical laboratory before the war and her husband owned a small gift shop. Their home and shop were destroyed. They have two children Hamoud, 3 and Tota, 7. Hamoud’s eyes were injured and needs treatment.

today's coworker had kindergarteners watch 15 minutes of kingdom hearts cutscenes bc she typed in "toy story 3 full movie". she cleaned the entire classroom with no reaction to sora being on the tv and only switched it once she was done. which was also right after the word 'xehanort' was said

I had to correct the practitioner yesterday on the phone.

She told me my fibroid wasn’t causing me issues. I said “well, yes it is, and that’s why she had me do the ultrasound. To see if it had grown and was it the reason causing issues.” She apologized quickly and sent me the recs I asked for.

Medical racism is a big reason why Black folks avoid the doctor. There are too many bad experiences with racist doctors & it develops distrust. Most of us have tales of medical racism. Then you get into community knowledge of all the times we were medical test subjects historically.
