Momma (April 21, 1952-June 21, 2024)

For the rest of my life I will strive to honor your memory and the powerful example of your love, kindness, honesty, and excellence.

She's as ridiculous as she is dangerous.

Or the other Maine Senator that caucuses with Democrats that was easily re-elected last year at 80.

Platner has had a very impressive launch. Don't sell him short. Trust the people. A contested primary will invigorate the party. Maine will end up with an aggressive fighter either way in the general.

Students & faculty have a first Amendment right 2 protest. While it is true some pro-Palestinian folks R extremists & held Kamala Harris 2 an impossible & unfair standard they were unwilling 2 hold Trump 2, they all weren't doing that. They certainly didn't deserve 2 be fired or expelled.

If the bailout succeeds, he'll get the credit and win re-election.

Platner is running to give people a choice and they'll have two good ones. I trust the people to decide.

He's clearly lit a fire in Maine. The idea that he's being iced out is incorrect, but he will have a fight on his hands because the governor is a formidable woman.

Gov. Mills, 77, is the only Democrat to win a statewide race in two decades. Independent Senator Angus King, also a former governor, was easily re-elected last year at age eighty. We can't buy into double standards.

That's not a good answer, but it is an answer. Accept what he told y'all and be clear that he's okay with mass violations of Constitutional rights.

Just so everyone is clear, the main issue in the Supreme Court voting rights case tomorrow is whether it's racist against white people to enforce the Voting Rights Act.

I'm dead serious. We live in incredibly stupid times.

New York City Mayors usually disappoint. Lindsay, Beame, and Dinkins were the only decent mayors in my lifetime that weren't egotistical narcissists.

One has 2 be deaf, dumb, & blind 2 believe that ignoring the clear brief of the Voting Rights Act 2 prevent racial discrimination & minority vote dilution allows Texas Republicans 2 run roughshod over the rights of Latino, Black, & Asian communities at the behest of this corrupt Administration.

The Texas racial gerrymander is before a three-judge panel composed of one Obama appointee, one Reagan appointee, and one Trump appointee. What is clear is that the Trump Administration demanded the remap, and no honest broker would rule to uphold a clear racial gerrymander.

North Carolina Republicans announced today they’re going to pass a new congressional map to draw a Dem out of Congress; they already did last cycle, going from 7-7 to 10-4. Thus would be 11-3. t.co/XLJIhe8vZn

It's good to see Chris Christie call a thing a thing, but he knew who Trump was the first time in 2016, and so that tempers my enthusiasm.
