None of the reforms in the green paper dealt with the practicalities or put any onus on The State or Employers.

Surely WFH should have been a huge part of Disability Rights & work place accommodations, & better accessiblity for public transport.

But nope such actions were not given consideration.

People don't realise how malicious the 'reforms' proposed by Heather Humphreys to disability supports were. Very few people appreciate the work put in by disabled activists to resist those reforms or the lasting damage caused. No apology or even acknowledgement, HH is not a President for all #Áras25

I was one of the leaders of Scrap The Green Paper because I & my friends were suicidal after learning proposals for ~84% of disabled to be pushed into work

I've not recovered from pushing myself to fight it, nor my friends

I'm so broken & Humphreys wants a house in the park on our backs

Now you know how to say goodnight to it, though. Think of the benefit should Artemis ever reappear.

It's a heartwarming story of a teenage girl who really, really wants sex and doesn't get punished for that.

It made it very clear that he was a horror who should be shunned, so in that sense, it had a tremendous benefit for me personally.

I'm up for any book related challenge that does not involve reading Tertullian.

I'm with Pliny the Elder on this one thing: there is no book so bad that some benefit can not be gained from reading it.

Writing is how poor people, as long as they have something to say that continues to be meaningful, can live forever. Rich people too, obviously, but they rarely have that much of interest to say.

Gentle reminder…the Special Criminal Court was opposed trenchantly and for compelling reasons by Mary Robinson before she became President; its continued existence has been criticised by the UN Human Rights Committee, UN Special Rapporteurs, the Irish Human Rights & …

$5.9bn = the amount spent annually on protecting and restoring forests

$409bn = the amount of subsidies going to agriculture industries destroying forests

Anyone else see the problem here?

The University of Toronto has made a consistent point of surveilling and disciplining faculty members critical of Israel's genocide in Gaza.

When you read this, it becomes very clear why that is.
