On #worldteachingday let’s show appreciation for those who continue to dedicate their time, energy and passion into inspiring us to #learn. Here is a photo of the #SwanseaTrainingCollege c.1916-1918, which provided #teachers training from 1872 until it merged in 1974.

Laura Ford’s sculpture Beast on display in the Tigers & Dragons exhibition at Glynn Vivian, Swansea. A little forlorn; a reduced diminished power who may rise up one last time or who may weaken & fade away. Her figures have such presence it’s easy to believe they might suddenly twitch into life.
