Birmingham Campus is ready to celebrate Black History Month!

Happy #WorldPostDay! Though #letters are rarer now, here’s some from 1915 during #WW1. They're addressed to Principal Salmon of the #Swansea Training College.

Pattern books for designing cottages were popular at the beginning of the 19th century. In ‘A labourer’s cottage, who keeps poultry and pigs for sale,’ the main rectangle of the kitchen and bedroom is attached to a horizontal unit of three coops and two pigsties.

On #worldteachingday let’s show appreciation for those who continue to dedicate their time, energy and passion into inspiring us to #learn. Here is a photo of the #SwanseaTrainingCollege c.1916-1918, which provided #teachers training from 1872 until it merged in 1974.
