im not really sure how to explain object sentience to someone who's never experienced it before. like yeah theres a difference between being POSIC and imaginative play. the line is mostly "do you treat your object as a living thing" and "do you see them as a different person vs as a part of you"

imaginative play is totally ok and awesome. but being posic and hearing your plushie's voices in your head is kinda Out There as an experience. idk how to word it much better but i hope it makes a little sense :)

being posic is different from imaginative play to me specifically because the personalities and voices i hear from my plushies aren't necessarily the ones id have chosen for them. ie. its involuntary mostly. (though i imagine you could make it voluntary if you wanted to)

🦁 Turns out that on a rainy day... even lion cubs love Bluey!
