This protest was peaceful. The escalation didn’t come from the crowd, it came from law enforcement. People gathered on public property to speak out against an unjust detention. They were met with armored vehicles, riot gear, and chemical agents. It was excessive. It was avoidable.

I find myself in an awkward position, and I'm certain I'm not the only one. When you glance at the books out there, most are cartoon covers or the darker (morally grey) style covers. Most of mine are covers using stock photos. 1/2

Finally had a chance to drop by Hardcovers, the new romance bookstore north of Seattle. It is so super cute and fun, and I even found Fabio lurking in the bathroom. We didn’t leave empty handed and will definitely come back. A great shop to support on #indiebookstoreday
