Feels like the most one-sided election I can remember. Positive results everywhere and many thought to be close weren't close at all. Georgia smashed it, Virginia flipped a crazy amount of seats, Mississippi broke a supermajority, NJ gained a supermajority! Mamdani mayor! Vance got crushed. On & on

Ahh. Yeah. For me it was that I got the intention but I felt weird when I read it. Seeing more comments now makes me get why. The lack of racist and transphobic stuck out immediately but I missed other stuff until I saw more people go into depth. Now I'm frustrated

I've seen more liberal things from Cincinnati than even Columbus, so I had to laugh that he was even running. Obviously, Ohio so never guaranteed. Our state government seems to hate Cincinnati in particular though

It shouldn't fall on players but at this point it says a lot about the White NWSL leaders if they remain silent. Sarah Gorden spoke out and they're going to put the heat on her because she's one of the very few to speak out and she's Black. The league can't pretend this isn't happening anymore.

Every single team in the NWSL has teammates that were attacked by that article. It sucks that these statements are falling on players to make but they need to be made. More people in the NWSL need to speak up. Transphobia is also misogynistic and racist
