* The Palestinians being freed were also hostages, of the Israeli state. Would have been better to say "Imprisoned Palestinian hostages".

* Second - You left out that Israel mandated that Palestinians not be allowed to celebrate the release of their hostages.

PS: Rule of thumb - if it's a Singer and the tension unit is on the nose of the machine instead of facing the sewist, it's a model 15 (and generally non-Singers with the same set up are based on the 15).

It's a model 15, and Zandra is right about the needle and bobbin - this model set the class 15 standard, so you can get the needles and bobbins anywhere.

Make sure it has its bobbin case as those early 15s use a "long beak" case, which is different than the later, more common, cases.

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
