Incidentally, I’ve been chafing a bit at the “No Kings” thing, because there are loads of monarchies that have more limits on executive power than the US does, but it has the great advantage that it makes Americans who want to oppose it sound, well, unamerican….

one of the reasons they're so mad at "no kings" is that they thought they were going to get a different kind of protest. they *want* the black bloc to be out there fighting with the cops. those are the images they've been trying to generate from "go." instead--

I know this is a lessor complaint, but what on earth is happening with the wild differences with the number font size and placement and column alignment?

I did! It was a gift for my sister-in-law and her partner a lifetime ago in 2016. I had no idea what I was doing and this piece was a big step forward in understanding the medium.

I watched it recently and full on cried during Not In Nottingham. Roger Miller’s voice is lovely and it’s so sad.

65 in the winter over here! We're happy to lend slippers or a sweater if someone doesn't plan accordingly but we're pretty standard for our friend group and haven't had really any issues.

I finished my #MonochromeArtPrompt piece this morning and am so happy with how it turned out!
