Let's be honest. As a teacher, I'm not putting my real name on here.

Sure would be nice if a single person pressed him on that stupid slogan, wherein he makes a lightly veiled threat about making Trump King.

I do not like Kathy Hochul, but occasionally, she says something right. Call out these people and call for their resignation and public shaming. No more CNN spots, no more high ranking jobs.

Q: Politico reported on a group chat of young Republicans. Does this just reflect some bad apples?

HOCHUL: Some bad apples? These are the future of the GOP. This is so vile it's hard to find the words to put into context ... there's gotta be consequences ... this bullshit has to stop.

Months before catastrophic floods swept through an Alaska Native village on Sunday, the Trump administration canceled a $20 million grant meant to protect the community from extreme flooding. At the time, the EPA administrator said he was eliminating "wasteful DEI and Environmental Justice grants."

The remote village of Kipnuk planned to use the money to protect against flooding. On Sunday, it was inundated.

Not that anybody comes to me for Maine politics, but the fact that the Democrats successfully convinced a 77yo Governor to primary the 41yo progressive, is today's example of why the Democrats fucking stay failing.

Susan Collins is 72 and if Schumer gets his way, she'll be the YOUNGER choice!

"Why won't women date young Republicans?"

They name names in the article it better be brought up at every single press opportunity they give these assholes.

POLITICO: “.. They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies .. and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.

A lot of comments on Mars rovers or Moon landings, but it's important to remember that the planet NASA studies most is Earth. This is less about cutting flashy things like moonwalks and more about keeping communities in the dark on climate, weather, agriculture, pollution, natural hazards, and more.

Having your protests turn violent is unlikely to bring about change because mobs en masse do not make good strategic decisions about targets.

Massive peaceful protests are *important* against a violent regime for a large number of reasons: striking fear in their hearts, establishing a habit of courage amongst our citizens, and opening lines of communication.

I have blocked this person, but I keep seeing people say things like this, and I’m begging people to understand two things.

(1) Just because peaceful protest may not be sufficient to win this moment does not mean that it is not necessary.

It is.

i appreciate your words very often
Germans were very angry at their own government for not being truthful about the fierce nature of their enemy in WWI
this betrayal by leaders and mouthpieces led directly to Hitler and NSDAP
we're telling Americans peaceful protest will solve this
it won't

It's always so much fun. Between my control and my wife's diabetes meds we're becoming experts at dealing with the system. Sorry you had a rough time.

I worked at a pharmacy during grad school, and am on a control. The system tells us exactly when a script can be filled if it's a control. No pharmacist should be able to tell you otherwise. Screw that guy.

This is why the inflatable costumes works so well -- it works the same way calling them "weird" or "creepy" did. It disrupts their narrative, and makes them seem pathetic rather than cool-and-cruel.

It's so odd because I loved the writing for the most part right up until 1.0 released and they revealed the endgame. It felt so rushed. And so many threads of story that I was certain were going to play into it ended up being post-game side quests, which was disappointing.
