Went over this one (again) because I wanted to get it printed yesterday.

OK finally i can post my #portfolioday stuff, been a busy day :)

I draw kids, ghosts, ladies and snails alot. Going on various adventures. I love telling stories with the image themselves. I feel like a good picture can tell a story.
Three girls playing Frisbee in a forest clearing in Autumn A mouse girl and bug girl investigate a blocked staircase behind a false wall, a snailbunny watches them. A ghost and a girl with pigtails enjoy a Fall day. A pointy eared woman steps into a dark cave, illuminated by a single lamp above some mushrooms.

Some of last night's stream designs!

A shy bookish lass that ends up being Lynette's first friend in magic school. And Bia's mother, Bianca! She's existed for a while now and acts as the "man in the chair" for Bia and Warner!

I was able to remove everything through lucahammer's TweetXer script, thankfully. I recommend it if you wanna delete all your stuff but hang on to your username

Wanted to scrub my twitter and leave it empty in case I ever came back to it, but I guess that costs money now?
Oh well, guess I'll just delete my account entirely

Yeah, absolutely Twitter's fault. I just thought I should mention in case someone wonders what the heck I'm talking about lol.
Those third-party apps were very handy. Was nice to have a more customizable experience compared to the bland, lifeless site it is today
scruffodraws.bsky.social
Yeah, that was a good call. It's not worth it anymore.
Not sure what took me so long
scruffodraws.bsky.social
I probably should clarify, twitter itself never had a mass delete function, but all the 3rd party apps for it cost money now because twitter started charging for access to its API.
I'm surprised it isn't a 'twitter blue' feature tbh. They already lock so many other things behind a paywall

Still means a lot, thank you

I feel like I've been on a serious downward spiral these past few months and nothing's gonna get better unless I make some real changes.
I'm not trying to get attention--I just think I might actually hold myself accountable if I say this where somebody could be listening.
scruffodraws.bsky.social
As long as you love making them, I feel like you're more than halfway there y'know? Drawing comics gets easier with time, but a passion for creating things is hard to find. Wishing you the best of luck!

thinking about how I could turn it into a final piece, which stops me from experimenting.
It truly is a great bit of advice, and I appreciate you taking the time to write it out for me. Thanks so much again :-)

I really do like the sound of having a smaller sketchbook that isn't such a burden to carry around, and going in with the mindset of "everything I do in here is for my eyes only" does seem like it would take the pressure off. I sketch a lot digitally, but a lot of times I'll go into a sketch--
scruffodraws.bsky.social
Mhm good point, that must be a part of it too. I worry that every time I take a break I'm "falling behind". Something about seeing all the cool stuff everybody else is making gets me feeling antsy lol.
No tbh, I haven't picked up my sketchbook in a while now
scruffodraws.bsky.social
Thanks so much for the kind words :-)
It is very good advice, but I've always had a tough time following it. There's this annoying feeling in the back of my head where I really want to see this comic done, but I *really* don't want to work on it. It's hard to allow my brain to shift focus, y'know?
scruffodraws.bsky.social
I getcha. I thought you might've been going for a "touch grass" sort of response tbh, but yes walking away and getting some fresh air is always a good first step.
Sorry to learn you're struggling yourself. Hope some better days come your way soon

Thank you. I would love to have something to share some day, but I am still a long ways from that
scruffodraws.bsky.social
I know a lot of people who say they enjoy the process, and I'd love to figure out their secret one day. For now yeah, we're in the same boat it sounds like
scruffodraws.bsky.social
Tbh it's a fair suggestion if you were being genuine. Taking a long break from drawing and going for walks has been worth a try, but it hasn't helped the creative rut I've been in
