I see no problem here. Perfectly normal. 😀
At some point they'll realise they've cored out their organisation as they no longer have a pipeline of experienced staff, either internally or elsewhere.

This week's article will cover The Masks of Time (1968) by Robert Silverberg, but will likely be a bit late. In the meantime, catch up with last week's piece on the terrifying fascist dystopia Swastika Night (1937) by Katharine Burdekin.

This next in actual book, back to my usual scifi. My first read from Chris Moriarty, first of a trilogy, I gather. Space opera, cyber punky military sf mashup, that type o' thing. 🪐📚 #scifibooks #sciencefiction #nowreading
SPIN STATE BY CHRIS MORIARTY.
Finished. Enjoyed and recommended. Likeable characters, Patrick O'Brian vibes with added fantasy elements, very interesting secondary world details and tee'd up the next book so well I now feel compelled to read it. 🪐📚💙 #fantasy #nowreading #stillnotscifi
I'm about a third in. Very much enjoying the way Barker fills in the outlines of the world with minute, full colour details, almost with each passing sentence, the whole image coming gradually to life in front of my very eyes. 🪐📚💙 #fantasy #nowreading #notscifi
Might get struck down by the vengeful gods of scifi, but am risking all to read what I hear is a pretty good fantasy book next. First of a trilogy though, so the risk could well escalate.

I do, a Panther from 1979. Thanks though!
That's funny, I'm heading in the other direction (at least with the yellows), any time I find a vintage copy I ditch the SFMW.
It's only about an hour and a half at Miller's Planet since Interstellar was released.
Yes that's a good one. 👍🚀
Just a flesh wound!
Richard Norris Williams was advised to have his legs amputated after he survived the sinking of the Titanic, but he instead walked it off and won the Men’s Doubles Championships at Wimbledon in 1920.

Chinese scientists have created a oyster-inspired medical adhesive called Bone-02 that can bond shattered bones in just 3 minutes. Inspired by how oysters cling to rocks underwater, the glue forms a strong, biodegradable bond that replaces screws and plates. buff.ly/znJ2jxD

This is my next read on audiobook, not on my planned TBR this month. I continue my sporadic re-read of the Revelation Space books. Going in, I remember very little about it. 🪐📚 #hardsf #spaceopera #scifibooks #sciencefiction

Finished Creation Node. Revelations on the very edge of the solar system, a giant quasar, an...unexpected guest, existential threats, multiverse theory, factional politics, fusion drives, crew dynamics, omnipotent powers, difficult choices. Lots packed in! V good. #hardsf #nowreading #scifibooks
Up next on audiobook, recentish one from the Don of 🇬🇧 hard SF.
Meant to be a good one, let's see. Or rather listen. 🪐📚

One from last year that I thought was good but underperformed. Here with a new thumbnail and title to see if it can tickle the algorithm. Why don't we see evidence of intelligent life in the galaxy? Check it out 👀!
