He’s a terrible person, and he’s saying this to delegitimize Israel (because he’s obsessed) but what he’s saying has a grain of truth - Rabbinical Judaism came after the destruction of the Temple, replacing Temple Judaism. So basically he’s using the fact that Judaism changed to say it’s not ancient

Do you feel a link to the part of your ancestry that’s European?

I know it’s very different, but when I look at my breakdown, roughy 92% Ashkenazi, 4% S. European (which I’m sure was intermarriage) and 4% E. European (which I’m pretty sure was not) I don’t feel a connection to the E European part.

They were misusing the word ceasefire-calling for Israel to surrender unconditionally. And for Israelis to “go back where they came from” (Poland & Brooklyn). They NEVER called for the hostages to be returned or for Hamas to surrender. And they were calling Israelis evil by nature (antisemitic).

I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.
