today is the last day to see @shirleywu.studio’s and my interactive ceramics & data science art show at such as gallery in shimokitazawa, tokyo!

So this was nothing to do with operator agreements. The original RubyGems maintainer team would have been the right group to decide upon and figure out this transition.

this is an awful outcome. all this means is that Ruby Central stole multiple GitHub repositories from their original maintainers and, in an attempt to save face, gave them to Ruby Core, who are now even more culpable in that theft.

Ok, since many people are obviously not reading the article, here's a pertinent figure from it showing the top actions to reduce emissions.

Wealthier populations may emit up to 110 tonnes per year, while lower-income populations may emit as little as 1.6 tonnes.

the ceramics and i made it safely to tokyo! these boxes + ranpak kept the ceramics intact in my luggage!

the next few days will be for finishing show prep with @shirleywu.studio!

I had a lot of convos with people who said they were sympathetic, but Defund the Police was a "bad slogan". I told them it wasn't a slogan. It was an answer. It was an answer to the constant question "what can we do to actually lower crime and make our neighborhood's safer?"
