For me personally, I constantly on back and forth on how "Canon" some of R'ythian's jobs are and how they fit into his narrative and identity, especially Reaper. I just can't find a satisfying way to make the voidsent "work" with Esteem and Blood of the Dragon w/o it feeling convoluted

Generally, R'ythian likes to do things for people he loves, whether it's cooking, making things, helping with tasks, fighting for them, etc. For those whom he's more intimate with, he's more physically affectionate, but mostly in private. He rarely uses it, but the most notable was probably during his final battle with Zenos in which he used this technique while also Enshrouded to survive an otherwise fatal blow. This time, however, because he was possessed by both esteem and his voidsent, his body still sustained major damage

What makes this technique dangerous is that, once a fatal blow is struck, it requires him to drain the aether of others to revert himself back to his human form, lest the possession begin to cause actual necrosis and cause serious damage to his body, possibly even fatal. It's all of nothing for sure

Although R'ythian is technically both a Dark Knight and a Paladin, his canonical invuln is only Living Dead. It's the defensive counterpart to Living Shadow, in which, instead of summoning Esteem to fight alongside him, he allows Esteem to possess his flesh, in essence becoming a ghost unable to die

Oh and Eorzean R's are VERY difficult for him. He'll normally just use the tapped r (the same as the flapped 'dd' in American English 'middle') to approximate the sound

R'ythian has a mild but noticeable accent, roughly analogous to a Spanish accent. For example: he'll pronounce h's as /x/ (i.e. the j in jalepeño), pronounce b's an v's the same, approximate Eorzean vowels to /a/ /e/ /i/ /o/ or /u/, and occasionally elide b, d, and g when between vowels (lenition)

time to go all out, writers. what themes do you explore in your WoL/OCs character?

for example; aurora tackles themes of femininity, motherhood, womanhood, (in some cases) religion. For me when i make decisions as small as gender it can completely alter how I write a character!!
