I had to change to a hanging seed feeder because of rats and one blackbird obviously hasn't read the book that claims that blackbirds can't use feeders.
To be fair he is all wings and feet and can't balance for longer than a couple of seconds, but he gets a feed!

Weirdly enough I was wondering about how migrating birds sleep in the wing in the middle of the night. How do they have the energy to continually fly in calm conditions? Let alone when the wind is against them or if it is stormy.
