Pretty surprised the very first healing item you get heals 50% of your HP. I always liked the % based healing in the Tales series because it ensures even the weakest healing items are useful late into the game, but 50% for the first potion is a bit too much.

I'm playing with the retranslation patch btw. I don't know how good the retranslation is, but I've heard the original translation is not good so I hope this is at least better than that.

I see, well we'll see how it goes. It's a game I've wanted to play for a long time so even if I end up not liking it, I'll be glad to have at least given it a try after all these years.
