Yep. Just reached a combat sequence and seeing phasers and photon torpedoes firing alongside incredibly generic pew-pew sounds is... deflating.

What's even stranger is they have the likenesses. The gang's all here: Chakotay, Janeway, even Bob Picardo. But no warp sound effects and the music sounds like something straight from Galactic Civilizations II.

Playing that there Voyager: Across the Unknown and it seems... pretty ok!

However... The sound is all wrong. They don't (currently) seem to have licenced *any* Star Trek music, voices or even sound effects so everything has a real generic feel to it.

It's #portfolioday! I'm presently a senior narrative designer at Blizzard, but before that I was at Bungie and Arkane. I wrote for the Writer's Guild award-nominated Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and a bunch of critically acclaimed seasons and expansions in Destiny 2.

Ok, fair enough!

Just to say though: I've customised mine (using the tools provided) to look pretty much the same as 10. No ads, same taskbar etc etc. Only real annoyance is that Copilot is everywhere (but I think you can remove/turn that off too).

Sorry if it sounds direct but... are there specific reasons you don't want to go to 11? I've had it for about a year now and it's pretty much exactly the same experience as 10, but with some nice QoL changes.
