The world lost an icon yesterday, and one of my all-time favorite actors. Did you know #DianeKeaton had a #BeaArthur connection? In her film debut, she played the daughter-in-law of Bea's character in 1970's Lovers and Other Strangers. She was just 24 years old.

I saw your post and wanted to chime in, because my housemate - and childhood friend - was Bea Arthur’s hairdresser post Golden Girls. I met her by accident when she was sitting in his chair at the salon and he introduced me to her as I walked up. I almost fell over! She was so sweet, too! 💙
