A few hours after posting this, Sama'a told me that Israel has resumed bombing the Strip. Please give what you can to help her family survive.
The war may have ended 🙏

but it left us without work, without a home, without food or water 😔
We still depend on you to survive 🥺
not to live in comfort, but to preserve the bare minimum of life
My girls need you. .

Your support remains our only hope❣️
Don't leave us alone.

This is absolutely heartbreaking. Remember, Trump would have no problem doing this to anyone anywhere for any reason.
🚨 NEWS: Colombian President Gustavo Petro accuses U.S. government officials of murder and violating Colombia’s sovereignty and says the Trump-ordered strike of a boat in the Caribbean killed a fisherman named Alejandro Carranza.

This is the sign that moved me most today. The simple message. The homemade lettering. She seemed tired, but resolute.

Saw so many people from that generation today. People whose parents lived through WWII, who know what fascism looks like, and who may not be around to see us get out of this.
As for why Judas got that name, that’s a story for another Caturday
These pictures are when they were older by the way, within the last two years of their lives.
Both brothers lived a little longer than 17 years and had many adventures together. They were inseparable from birth to death. I raised them and kept them and loved them more than I could ever describe.
The condition on “adoption” (being taken from the caretaker at the local trailer park) was that he and Judas keep their names so I tacked on “Cooper” and added “Priest” to Judas so their names were Alice Cooper and Judas Priest.

Here’s his brother and companion in life: Judas Priest
He was named this because he was named Alice as a little kitten (thought to be a female at the time) and his brother was named Judas.
For #Caturday this week we have the late, great Alice Cooper (the kitty, not the singer)
They’re gonna whig TF out once they find out about Birdo in Mario 2 (probably already have lol)

An ICE agent, who is being arrested for drunk driving and nearly killing his little kids & others, tries to stop the arrest by racially profiling the officers arresting him. Amazing to watch the courtesy given to him as he is belligerent and uncooperative
Thank you for saying that because I really, really needed to read/hear it today

Some feelings are wrong, actually. If I feel afraid when I see a Black person on the street, that feeling is wrong. If I feel afraid when I see a Muslim person running for mayor, that feeling is wrong. If a cis person feels afraid when they see a trans person, that feeling is wrong.
