I do not understand why people start with me with accusations, then when it's proven to them that the accusation was false, they explain why starting with a false accusation was totally reasonable.
I don't care why they did it. I'm done with people who turn me into a monster the minute they panic.

The remaining living hostages are back with their families. The road back for them will be hard, but at least those kibbutzim can begin their healing now. It's bittersweet, but it's something real, a nice change from the performative PR war raging online.

If you're griping that you didn't win the Nobel peace prize, you don't deserve the Nobel peace prize. People who truly seek peace are often despised in the short term by those who prefer to wage war, because war feels powerful until you're losing.

I'm sorry, the Canada Post unions lost me when I spent $75 to mail a package on Sept 28 and they have held it hostage ever since. They should have delivered all the existing mail instead of screwing people over who paid a premium for delivery guarantees.

All that these "no penis in my bathroom" "gender criticals" do is make men exposing themselves a more powerful tactic to demean women.
One of my least favourite things about stand up comedy was the number of men who thought that flashing me their naked scrotum was "a joke".

I have been saying this FOR YEARS.
When they ban books, they say it's about parental rights.
But then they ban parents from the right to make medical decisions for their kids based on the advice of a doctor.
Unless of course it's "conversion therapy".
It's all about clawing back rights.

People who freak out when they feel like their own privacy is violated, but have no problem releasing entire conversations filled with the names and details of third parties because they're angry at one person... I'm sorry this is just bad person territory & you shouldn't do it.

Yes, it's true that it's important to talk to people who have different beliefs than me. It's also true that I don't have to talk to someone who thinks the reality of my existence makes me an abomination. Politics has become so polarized that it too often hits that line.

It's also quite telling that the lefties who retweeted my comments on Bari Weiss to mock them didn't share the facts I posted about the famines in Sudan and Afghanistan.

Lefties are being jerks about this, but this is actually a core principle of responsible journalism. If Weiss compromises her own stated principles, she can be held accountable for that more effectively than the mere fact of her having right wing views.
