Finally. Now let's see it.
San Francisco’s top cop said she’d consider charges against federal agents using excessive force as Trump threatens to send in the National Guard.
San Francisco DA says she ‘won’t hesitate’ to bring charges against federal agents
Her remarks came after Trump said he may send the National Guard to San Francisco.

Different figures in Trump 2.0 have different agendas w/r/t Venezuela, but it is significant that POTUS is focused on:

1) Immigration.

2) Mostly non-existent drug trafficking from VZ to the US.

Trying to do regime change in Caracas or further destabilizing VZ will likely exacerbate one of those.
POTUS says he "authorized" for two reasons:

1) Venezuela emptying prisons and "insane asylums" into the US.

2) "Lot of drugs coming in from Venezuela."

Responses that seem factually challenged and at odds with reported contents of the authorization.

Q: Why did you authorize the CIA to go into Venezuela?

TRUMP: They have emptied their prisons into the US. Prisoners from mental institutions, insane asylums ...
Thank you Marc! Need more Blue pics please.

The Liberty statement does not say whether the company plans to re-write code developed by these foreign workers—which would potentially involve rewriting hundreds of thousands of lines of code—or whether the company will move foreign developers to the US or replace them with American programmers.
One Republican Now Controls a Huge Chunk of US Election Infrastructure
Former GOP operative Scott Leiendecker just bought Dominion Voting Systems, giving him ownership of voting systems used in 27 states. Election experts have concerns.

For a tenth time, a filibuster led by Senate Democrats (plus Rand Paul R-KY) has blocked action on a House-passed 7-week temporary funding bill. After 16 days, nothing has changed.

The shutdown will go into next week.

U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis just took the bench in this lawsuit over the use of force against ICE protesters in Chicago.
U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis is set to hold a hearing in this case at 8:30 am CT. Unclear why she called it (it was before the filing below).

DISCLAIMER: The Chicago Newspaper Guild is a plaintiff. I’m a member but not an officer, and I’ve had no involvement in the suit (other than covering it).
Good morning. An overnight court filings reveals discussions took place Wednesday over whether the Trump administration has violated a judge's order addressing the use of force in its Chicago immigration campaign.

"The government believes the TRO has not been violated at all."

If that means some random GS-14s need to be convicted of Big Boy federal crimes so be it, these people are never again going to do the right thing otherwise

If Congress doesn't want to assert their Art I prerogatives and the exec doesn't want to enforce the law then we need a new governing document

What's fun is how the FMers, despite absolutely knowing how illegal this is, are jUsT pAsSinG iNfOrMaTiOn and acting like it's also very legal and cool that there's schemes being cooked up to just continue spending unappropriated money for MILPERS as long as this goes on

Examples need to be made
What this reference in the memo means as a practical matter is their contention is the entire active duty force is conducting research, development, testing, and/or evaluation functions

Which is, uhhhhhhh not the case, suffice to say, and a thing any FMer is aware of re: ADA violations
3. 31 USC 1301a: “Appropriations shall be applied only to the objects for which the appropriations were made except as otherwise provided by law.”

I could go on! They even cite the last one in the NSPM!

Too late for a normal appropriations process. Delaying the process for political leverage. People furloughed, essential personnel and military not paid? Under normal appropriations process this would be a NON-issue.

THUNE: Fund the government the old fashioned way -- I don't think you need rescissions

VITALI: Have you said to the WH, maybe don't do another rescissions package? Feels like it's poisoned the well

THUNE: It's in everybody's best interest, including the WH, to do a normal appropriations process

Would be more interested in the inner workings of this poll. Who, from where, questions, wording of questions, how was poll conducted, who conducted the polls, who interpreted the polls. Perhaps they’re right, perhaps not.

take a moment to really think about how hard Democratic leaders have had to work to somehow be losing to Trump on the issue of corruption
