The NHL and Nine have announced a partnership to bring games to Australia for free.

Every Saturday, starting October. 18, 9GO! with broadcast a live game. There will be 21 regular-season games broadcast in all.

The games will feature tailored broadcasts and intermission coverage.

The NHL has announced a partnership with Syracuse University to will provide a "comprehensive suite of educational programs for access by NHL Players, and their dependent family members, at significant tuition discounts."

There will also be professional development and exec education available.

#Avs Brock Nelson said that was the first time he's been cut by a skate. Said it only needed a couple of stitches, and shouldn't be an issue moving forward.

Got a skate cut on my wrist in high school and there was a lot of blood, but didn’t miss any time. It really just depends where you get cut and looks like Nelson got lucky.
