Love ravens, my partner, my great pyr, kids. Love people who wander into my life and light it up with their quirks, gifts, and diverse ways of being human--straight, gay, whatever. Stupid, however, tries my soul. I probably won't respond to chats.

And no one asks him to name those wars? Maybe...are they in the room with him right now? Since WeewilleyMikey doesn't seem to know anything about anything, it would be very interesting if he would claim to know about those, uh, wars. What a delusional maladministration of incompetents.
Mike Johnson: "The president is literally solving wars around the globe. I think we're up to nine."

Trump is on live TV saying he wants to rig elections so Democrats can’t return to power. The most corrupt, anti-American administration in our history.
Trump: "They're gonna make DC a state and they're gonna make Puerto Rico a state. So now they pick up two states, four senators. They're gonna pick up electoral votes. It's gonna be a very, very bad situation. Now, if we do what I'm saying, they'll most likely never obtain power."

What's happening in TX-18 is more obscene than not seating Grijalva during pro formas. Turner died in March. Abbott delayed the special election until yesterday, and now it goes to a runoff early *next year.*

Congress can and should require special elections to be held within 90 days of a vacancy.

“If Prop 50 is successful, it should fortify in every Democratic elected official and leader that the voters are on the side of action in order to prevent a Republican takeover of the House of Representatives and the 2026 midterms” says @johnbisognano.com
California’s Prop 50 hugely important. Its approval by voters will not only combat Texas gerrymander but hopefully convince other Dem states to step up & counter Trump’s plan to rig midterms www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
California fights Trump's attempt to steal the midterms
The state can strike the first blow against Trump's plan to subvert democracy.

Last night was huge rejection of Trump's plan to rig midterms:

-CA passes prop 50, giving Dems up to 5 new seats

-VA elects Dem gov & leg, boosting redistricting chances

-ME voters defeat voter suppression initiative

-Dems retain majority PA Supreme Court

Voters soundly reject Trump's plot to rig the next election
On Tuesday, Democrats passed new congressional maps, defeated GOP attempts to make it harder to vote, and protected pro-democracy judges.

According to Forbes- no fewer than 28 billionaires donated at least $100,000 to stop Mamdani, including Daniel Loeb, Barry Diller, Steve Wynn, Reed Hastings, and Alice Walton. Bill Ackman donated $1.75 million, while Michael Bloomberg donated $8.3 million, all to no avail.

Lord, and doesn’t include Musk/Murdoch’s infinite propaganda on Cuomo’s behalf
Sherrill and Spanberger were good victories but neither of them were outspent 7 to 1. Wow.

Heads up on this. Truly frightening.
What shocked me most about the death threats sent to teachers in Arizona in recent days was that they didn't come from extremists on fringe platforms, these were sent from seemingly regular people on Facebook.

Here's a sample of what they sent:

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

I too am delighted they have to run on their record.
Mike Johnson: "The economy and healthcare are two of the primary issues in the country clearly, and that's why we are delighted to run on our record."

“I’m scratching my head trying to figure out if there’s ever been a sheriff’s race as bigtime as this one,” says veteran GOP strategist Christopher Nicholas.

Record breaking turnout also ousted incumbent sheriff and district attorney, both of whom are Republicans.

As DHS attorneys argue in court this morning that reporters are somehow just wandering into the path of fire and catching strays is their own fault, here's a video from 9/26 (the date in question) that shows feds aiming directly at an obvious press gaggle trying to stay out of their way:
ICE advanced again, started firing at photographers/press intentionally. Took a nasty lick to the face, unsure if pepper ball or rubber bullet.

Passaic County was also the only county in NJ where Trump DOJ sent election monitors 🫢
Between 2020 and 2024, no New Jersey county moved further right than Passaic County (11pts). At 43% it's also the most the most-Latino county in the state, and is among the least-white overall.

Last night, it moved 18pts to the left, surpassed only by Hudson County (the second-most Latino county)
