i would simply run on the principle that these guys and their ideas are all bad, instead of the principle that i could win some of these guys over by having some of their ideas

everyone needs to internalize that this is just how all republicans are and when nancy pelosi said "the country needs a strong republican party" she meant that more people like this should be powerful. they are all like this! they all think just like this and like trump and they love it and it's fun

Hey news people: I know you like to pretend this doesn't exist, but you need to pay attention to the Nazi drama on Twitter. Basically, it seems as if Elon just restored two major neo-Nazi accounts that were banned by his product head, and might be about to fire the product head for banning them

i was surprised to learn that bc most protein powders are considered dietary supplements, they basically fall into a regulatory grey area

there's no federal limit on the amount of lead they can contain and neither manufacturers nor the FDA have to prove these products are safe before they're sold

nearly all the plant-based products we tested had elevated lead levels: vegan powders had 9x as much lead as dairy and 2x as much as beef

though dairy-based powders had the lowest levels, half were still too contaminated for safe daily use

you may be asking: how could this be? well...

two of the products we tested — Huel's Black Edition meal replacement powder and Naked Nutrition's vegan mass gainer — had enough lead that our experts caution against using them at all

a single serving of these protein powders contained between 1,200 and 1,600% of CR’s level of concern for lead

the results of this investigation surprised me. since CR last tested protein supplements in 2010, protein mania has swept the nation. protein isolates (the key ingredient in supplements) are in everything these days, from pasta to starbucks cold foam

but as the industry has grown, so have the risks

This is truly outrageous: Fenway Health (formerly the Fenway Community Health Center) has a long history (over 50 years!) of offering the most queer and trans affirming healthcare in Boston. It was founded specifically by and for the queer community!

This is insane, I followed my primary care to Fenway a little over a year ago - and in that time, the quality of care has seriously diminished, in my eyes. Therapy is now episodic - like, can you imagine being discharged from *therapy* after 3 months? Psychiatry is following suit - no relationships.
