I protested the Vietnam War after I left the Air Force (4 years active duty). That was in 1970. The No Kings protest this weekend will be my first since then.

If you're so sure you know who's leading Antifa, start prosecuting them. Quit with the threats, show them you mean business.

Oh,wait. You know there are no leaders of Antifa, and if you were to try and prosecute anyone you'd be laughed out of court and lose your law license. It's all about abuse.

And today we learned that if you're an American citizen with a valid passport, but your name isn't 'right' for your ethnicity, they question the validity of your passport. Local law enforcement needs to begin cracking down on ICE everywhere. No masks, no unmarked cars,no anonymity.

Serious question: Are these videos considered government records, since they are presumably being paid for with tax dollars? If so, don't they need to be retained and sent to NARA at the end of Trump's term in office? If so, their value as evidence well outweighs their cost.

such a fuss about it? Because they have nothing else. Trump has so changed the political landscape that Democrats are trying to do something, even if it's bad. After all, 92%of Americans have health insurance, completely ignoring the fact that millions of Americans will lose Medicaid benefits 2/x

The New York Times has done it again. The Tilt by Nate Cohn tries to make the argument that because no one has tinkered with health care in the recent past, it's not an issue anymore. According to him,everyone is satisfied with the current state of health care. So why are the Democrats making 1/x

Wonder why there are commissaries on military bases? Because the military doesn't pay it's enlisted personnel very much. Commissaries provide food and other goods at discount prices so families can afford to stay in the service. It is that simple. Wonder how many will make it a career now.

The Air Force base I was assigned to had only punch card processors. The personnel file was 8 trays (over 4000 personnel) . Had to sort the entire file every week. And override the errors every processing cycle, because you could count on something being out of sequence.

It ran several times during the Sunday Night Football game in the Sacramento region last night. Seems like they've got a lot of money to spend on recruiting. It will be interesting to see how effective it is.

As it turned out, the USTA didn't need to do this. Security was so tight that they were forced to delay the start of the finals for close to 45 minutes, and the stands were only about 20% full during the anthem. By the time most folks got inside, it was the second set.
