그러니까.. 중국에서 식용유를 사오지 않겠다… 근데 어차피 식용유는 미국 생산도 되잖아요. 저것만 놓고 보면 달리 자를게 없으니 있으나 마나한 품목을 자르고 미국 대두 생산자들이 바보라서 속아넘어가주길 바라겠다는 속셈으로 보이는데 말이에요…

돌아보니 결국 사법부는 내란청산을 뎀컨한다고 뭉개고, 개헌은 이제 아무도 말도 못 꺼내는 무언가가 됐고, 국힘은 다음 대선에도 후보를 내게 될 거고, 파시스트 아메리칸 나치가 준동하는 가운데 세계 곳곳에서 궁극적 폭력으로 문재를 해결하는 결정이 횡행한다. 계엄정국의 막바지였던 6개월 전보다 나아진 건 하나도 없어 보인다. 마치 일상을 되찾은 마냥 살고 있는 오늘이 새삼 이상하다.

한덕수씨는 저게 노욕도 아니고 참… 어찌 저렇게 한순간에 그간 쌓아온 모든 것에 불을 지르고 침을 뱉을수 있는지 기가막힐 따름이다. 거짓말과 협잡으로 얻은 권력에 무슨 힘이 있으며, 타인의 피로 짜낸 돈에 구린내 말고 다른 무슨 의미가 있단 말인가?
