Amazing story in The Times. Reform UK failed to pay VAT to HMRC on its sales (tickets, merchandise). About £400k in all.

Not tax avoidance. Not tax evasion. They just didn't realise when you sell stuff you have to charge VAT.

Much deflectionary noise today about Prince Andrew to be investigated by the Met. The Met surely has better things to do? Like the Covid cash to Tory cronies - without mentioning dealing with the Partygate infringers properly? They owe us that before going for a relatively soft target like Andrew
