Which Republican genius came up with the talking point to label millions of ordinary Americans peacefully protesting their government as paid Marxists who hate America?

That’s really what you are going with?

That we hate the United States of America?

Fuck you.

How could this congressman Nazi a swastika so prominently displayed in his own office?
EXCLUSIVE: Capitol Police are investigating a swastika found in GOP Rep. Dave Taylor’s office.

“The content of that image does not reflect the values or standards of this office, my staff, or myself, and I condemn it in the strongest terms," Taylor said in a statement.

New in PN: Scenes from Portland's imaginary insurrection

"I’ve been taking images that are nowhere near this one conflict driveway — ones of puppies & kids playing, & families having picnics — b/c the idea that Portland is burned down & a war zone is just preposterous" — @timdickinson.bsky.social

Hanging on the wall in Ohio Republican Congressman Dave Taylors office.

His aide, Angelo Elia, was so used to having it there he forgot to take it down before hosting a Zoom.

We warned you, this is who they are.

Promised 5,000 Optimus this year. "Tesla slashed its production goal to 2,000 a few months later ... Then, ... summer, staffers told Musk Tesla could meet the 2,000 target, but the robots wouldn’t be very useful due to issues with their hands." But, dancing!! www.theinformation.com/articles/elo...

When Elon Musk takes the stage at Tesla’s annual meeting next month, one of the centerpieces of his plan to impress shareholders will be a dancing troupe of Optimus bots, the humanoid machines that he...

And not a single mention in the Times about Michael Ellis installing himself as CIA general counsel. Fascinating.
🧵 This reporting confirms my suspicion on why, based on reporting last week, the CIA's Deputy Director, Michael Ellis, installed himself as the agency's general counsel. 1/ www.nytimes.com/2025/10/15/u...
I read the piece. You shouldn't. He dismisses the "No Kings" protests as liberals in blue cities. He invokes Rosa Parks, as if rural white people in the 60s loved everything that the movement then was doing. "We need a movement but not this one" is a core centrist tact these days.

I took it to LinkedIn and tagged… 💪❤️
My LinkedIn post that starts with a quote from the Politico article and ends with my comments: Quote They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies and driving them to suicide and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery. End quote

WHAT?!? THOUSANDS of private messages like this?

Wow… just wow… I’m not surprised these people lost their jobs or their job offers… who would want to WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE?!? 😡

It's really not about politics anymore. The apparatus of the Republican Party has simply become a haven for bad people.

NEW: in a hearing where a judge is asking the government why it’s defying her court order about deploying tear gas without warning in Chicago, the government argues ICE isn’t using body cams, and they can’t start using them because the government is shut down.
Skedzielewski also cites the shutdown and says "I don't believe that it will be possible, on a short timeline, to roll out a body cam program in the Chicago [area of responsibility] for ICE.

For CBP it "may be more workable."
I have seen a range of opinions and reactions from across the ideological spectrum on the Young Republicans thing, but one take you really don’t hear from anyone is that they are shocked this was happening.
Hilarious. Trump is sabotaging this guy daily right before the election with his policy pronouncements and all he can do is plead with voters not to notice he’s a Trump ally. I’m sure NJ voters can REALLY count on Jack to stand up to Trump!
If Dems will vote for the CR then Mike Johnson “will look at” maybe having a vote on ACA subsidies in the future. What a deal!
