There’s a free application, shutup10++, that lets you disable all the shitty windows stuff with a series of checkboxes.
It even tracks if windows rolls anything back between updates and lets you reverse the changes with a click.
I can personally recommend shutup10++ if you need to stick with windows

Or with Story of Seasons or farming sims, my first four chickens are the four friends in Billy Hatcher - Billy, Rolly, Bantam and Chick. I can come up with names it can just... take hours sometimes 😅

Even Bera took an hour and a few designs and name options to decide when I started XIV.

I get so indecisive with minor things and naming things in Pokemon so I try to stick to a naming theme. Since I've been going with Bera as an avatar recently, sometimes I aim for FF characters or food names. Looking back at old pokemon teams is seeing what I was into at that time too.

Extremely minor decisions really, but also irreversible extremely minor decisions that'll sit there for probably 40 hours or so so I've been staring at images of the rivals and whether there are any actual differences in character gender despite all clothes and hair being available for both 😅

Was able to get the new Pokemon! Although in my standard indecisive fashion, I've been staring at the starting screen trying to decide my character, which oddly enough wouldn't matter too much if it wasn't for the fact if it decides your rival for you?

They were doing a decent job for like... 75% of Remake I think? Some cute nods to things people who played the old games or compilation some Aerith being mysterious... then you see Cait Sith with no context or introduction react to the plate falling and from there they keep referencing more and more

I can't imagine the OS diving deeper into AI integration and support will make any of the programs run better and will probably be ridiculously straining on the parts and energy costs, and familiarity is something that can be gained?

If it can support XIV and games well, and AI can't be disabled...

LRP gotta say windows recently is doing more then any techbro ever around the world to get me to seriously think about Linux if I ever need to replace or something else for my laptop.

Better support for programs I regularly use and familiarity is what it mainly has going for it but still.
