"Those floating passes you try to play to the far post that goes to no one, can you just pass to Kerkez and not do it again?"
There's literally nothing that says he's a better defender than Frimpong, who at least has the pace to bail him out of his deficiencies like Kyle Walker.
Leverkusen v PSG, 2-7. lolz
Atletico are proper rattled lol
Confidence is a flower and all that.
It's trying to win games by the margins. Like xG conversion rate, it's fickle.
Sorry if this sounds like an under the cave question, what uncertainty are happening in Spain in the next few weeks?
They'll live and die by it, like last season. If it dries up, like it did at some point last season, they'll get the same outcome.
Bradely is a very poor defender. I'm not sure what you're watching. He's horrible in 1v1 and positional defending. There's a reason he picks up yellow cards like its roses on St. Valentine Day.
Thank you for the heads up. Tomorrow's game provides an additional data point. Hopefully in a positive direction.

I got drunk and got “you’ll never walk alone” tattooed on me in elvish (Tengwar)

Drunk tats are sober thoughts. If you got a Nazi tattoo while drunk, you’re a Nazi. I’m a nerd while sober so that tracks. There shouldn’t be a debate on this. It’s objectively bad.

The loss to Forest gave Slot clarity. The loss to PSG gave him brainworms. Whatever the tactical plan going into this season was, it's not working. Poor. #LFC
He looks concussed, Evans.
Have you met Father Time?
Kerkez and Bradley 😭

A couple of thoughts:
1. We knew Wirtz is supposed to compensate largely for Trent, why start dropping him?

2. What I'll give to play that LB we bought in the summer and use him to do the things he does so well at Bournemouth that made us pay top money for him. #LFC
this is the crux of it.

I've seen this for the last 3 or 4 seasons. He typically fades from January and it's worse when he goes to AFCON. He just falls off. The only difference now is that he's starting the season so poorly. I can accept that grieving Diogo J is a contributor.
Not a case of dunking on him now cos "he's not in form." I've been saying this for last 3 seasons. People who chat with me here know that I wasn't in support of giving him an extension. I was happy he got one eventually. It's on the manager to have the balls to drop him if he's not performing #LFC
For last 3 seasons (minus a large chunk of last season when he was outer worldly), our attacks die at his feet because his passing is often poor and he gets shunted off the ball easily. While he retain his deadliness in the box, his can hardly beat his man again, and is a defensive liability #LFC
When I said Salah is washed, I'm saying he's Cristiano Ronaldo washed. He's been that way for over 3 seasons now. He will continue to score goals and have assists. But he'll make the team poorer because you're basically playing with 10 players. And it's worse when he's off form and not scoring #LFC
Said Salah was washed for the last 2 seasons and I didn't want us to give him a new contract. Changed my mind due his unprecedented season. It was with a clear eye that he could indeed be washed. I'm not going to be hard on him now. If Slot doesn't start dropping him regularly, it's on Slot. #LFC
Mo Salah has attempted 10 dribbles in 8 PL games this season. He has won 1 (10%).

Interesting to see how Amazon Ring is slowly rolling out enabling footage from your doorbell camera to be requested by law enforcement (police, ICE and animal control?). The feature is officially “starting with lost pets” to get people used to the idea.
Post game narratives in football are largely outcome driven. But I'm sure if you run a Monte Carlo over that game, the most probable outcome is a #LFC win by more than a goal.

That said, the manner of the goals we conceded doesn't suggest we're a serious team.
Serious question.
Had we put in all those goals that hit the post or were open (Salah's miss and Gakpo's header), would we still deem that a horrific performance?
