Brutal. Harvey fanboys on this timeline are going to be really mad..
Unai Emery confirms Harvey Elliott won't be signing for Aston Villa!

“He is on loan playing with us, but he is not definitely adding to us with a permanent contract.”

I can't be bothered with Jamie Carragher. The guy spat on a girl.

The more I think about this the more it looks bad. What's Slot hoping to achieve? To feel powerful because he drove Salah out of the club? The guy who almost single-handedly made your coaching career relevant. He obviously doesn't value relationships.
That Seedorf interaction shows what's wrong with Slot. Quibbling over who should approach who first is childish, not leadership, and the players who've been under Klopp would've noticed. Results will keep him in a job. But to be successful, he'll need to be better at managing players'ego, and his.

Jurgen Klopp on Salah: That moment lifting the Premier League bonded us for life. He will be remembered as one of the greatest of all time. I wouldn't say he is easy to manage, but he is also not difficult to manage. You only have problems with Salah if he is not playing or you take him off.

It's time like this that I miss this guy.

Salah needs to be sold in Jan. Not because of the events of the past week, but because he's a net negative from a performance pov. This team needs to move past him and he won't accept a world where he doesn't start. But we can't be that club that disrespects its great legends out of the door #LFC

This is what I expected from the manager.
Virgil van Dijk on Mohamed Salah: I know Salah a long time. He is a friend. We have had highs and lows. We speak, those type of things will stay indoors. We have to brace ourselves and be against the outside noise.

This. Salah is a primadonna. That's not news. Klopp being great and not anything spill into public is the story in the current situation.
it was all highs and lows, there were times when the team was playing really poorly, but he always managed to keep the stars onboard

my main reaction to this whole liverpool/salah blow up is that jurgen klopp was good at his job
salah was not the cause of liverpool's problems this season, but he was a net negative and now it's not an issue to leave him out.

We just win at San Siro these days, no matter the color of the stripes #UpTheReds

This is a very good platform to build confidence. Well done boys.

Not a penalty. Just like the Galatasary one. Shambles of a game.

I'm still not sure why that goal was disallowed. Did the ref think that was a deliberate handball or the rule is different in CL?
I thought the rule was changed so that is a goal? If the person who provided the assist didn't deliberately handle the ball, it shouldn't be ruled out?

We are so easy to play through. I've never seen a #LFC team that it's so easy for any type of opponent to progress the ball against since Brendan. It's not even some complicated pattern of play. It's just being allowed so much space to move the ball into.

That's the first time I've seen Grav played with a defender's instincts in a very long time.

This is the type of decision a manager makes that makes you wonder if he's thinking clearly.

I expect the Salah thing to galvanize the team today. Sometimes, a group needs something disruptive to refocus. Not a statement to Mo that they can do better without him or as support for the coach. Just a reaction to a realization that everything is shite and they need to take responsibility #LFC

Confirms what Salah said that he's not wanted at the club. His man management is shocking and there's plenty of examples in 18 months already. It won't matter if he gets results. That's what is the most important thing.
Slot asked if Salah has played his last game for the club. Answered “I don’t know”

That answer is poor. He should have given an answer that implied he wanted Salah back playing and scoring as soon as possible.

He also should have spoken to Salah.

He’s not handling this well.

Hurts.
He's becoming the problem.

Fitting is Jake Elliot is the one lose lose the game tbh

A loss was going to suck anyway, but loss in the West Coast on a Monday night in OT is going to really suck. God, please.

Two of the best paid WRs in the league dropped balls when you had to have it. This is a bad bad team.
