I'm an #indieauthor because I remain in control of my intellectual property AND because I won't be trapped in the traditional publishing timeframe that's akin to continental drift.
In 10 years I've written these books.
The trad route would likely have meant 3 or 4. 😠

Heads up: I got copies of each of @philspeculates.bsky.social's British Bureau for the Arcane series, for random giveaway, solely because the author did his own promotion here! Also they're cheap. I also, of course, got copies for myself.

The British Bureau for the Arcane was established by Charles II in 1666 after the Great Fire of London - a consequence of the Fae civil war. The Bureau has maintained national security ever since.
Until now.
People got complacent. Arcane races got angry.
