"Labour admits it has lost our borders to the invading criminals. Vote Nigel Farage to fix this dangerous mess!"

Thank you Labour. Well done. 🙄

This really is Continuity Brexit, a tactic started by Boris Johnson. Deliberately not giving MPs - and indeed us all - the time to scrutinize this stinks. Of desperation. Of cynicism. Of being unworthy of governing the nation.

“Dropping 67 amendments to the planning bill at the 11th hour isn’t just poor process, it’s legislative chaos. There’s no time for proper scrutiny, no clarity on the cumulative impact, and no confidence this is about good planning rather than political optics."

With only China - who is / is not a danger to our security? - left of the big economies to do a deal with, and ignoring the fact the EU might sign deals with India & China etc too, undoing part of this mitigation, or god forbid even sign BETTER deals.

But hey, blue passports everyone!

So the UK has made "world leading" "trade deals" with the USA and India, which "people" said wouldn't be possible, joined CPTPP, improved the EU TCA, and yet only mitigated about 1/8th of the Brexit damage.

Hm. I do think it is important foreign church ministers speak English to a-level standard, so we do not get that whole "blessed are the cheesemakers" malarkey again. I support Labour here.

In essence:

- the CPS somehow misunderstood a Court of Appeal judgment and so needlessly asked HMG for further evidence

- HMG somehow misunderstood what should go in a witness statement and so wrongly did not provide it

Prosecution then dropped

So either two concurrent cockups

Or something else

Labour seems to be more interested in foreigners than the £900k house. I guess our journalists are too busy listening to Labour claiming control of the borders has been lost to the foreigner, and about forcing foreigners to speak A-level standard English, which is higher than a lot of natives do.

Labour are about to upend a bucket of petrol onto the Reform immigration binfire.

The assertion that we've "lost control of Britain's borders" is an absolute godsend for Reform, because that's what they have been bleating about all along.

Grim, grim, grim.

Shut up and just pay more taxes. And don't think about protesting about it, as we are dealing with protests too.

Now vote for us next GE, or something worse than us will get into power.

They don't call him the leader of the free world for nothing 🤪
philsbodydouble.bsky.social
No no no. In this case it means putting the blame on them, in proper English politics fashion. It is not our fault guvnor, THEY wanted this. And the fact "they" have now changed their mind, at least the majority of them, is irrelevant as we have to keep respecting that original wish because reasons.

"Making Brexit Work. By raising taxes. It's his fault."

I'm no political strategist, but why would one choose this ground?
philsbodydouble.bsky.social
There is no doubt that the impact of Brexit has been severe & long-lasting, and made everything more expensive. And that is why we say there is no case to rejoin the Single Market, and a Customs Unions and Freedom of Movement are red lines too. We will just raise taxes and make life more expensive!

"There is no doubt that the impact of Brexit has been severe and long-lasting", Rachel Reeves tells Sky News, as she suggests that taxes will now have to go up as a result to "make sure the numbers add up".

“What’s the benefit for 🇺🇸 in sending $20 BILLION to Argentina?”🤔

Trump says he just really likes their philosophy and will only send the $20 Billion if his pal Milei wins.

Imagine not being able to see this blatant corruption for what it is. (While our farmers struggle)

We must leave the EU to become truly sovereign. That will strengthen our national security, and significant damage to our EU trade is worth it.

Also:

We MUST have a bit more trade with China & the US to undone a bit of the trade damage from Brexit, and if the price is national security, so be it.

Trump says he will not give NYC federal funds if Mamdani wins while promising to give $20B to Argentina.

How is this America First?

This is election interference. Blue states should stop sending tax $$ to the federal government.
