The fact that I have to stop for a moment, genuinely wonder “which Clinton,” then decide not to bother asking for clarification because the answer is “probably all three,” says more about the last 35 years of American politics than it probably should.
Yup, looks like that guy had practice at it.
Can’t really tell dude’s intent from the video, but he didn’t start running until that point, and after that it’s an easy case to make that he was trying to get his glasses back. Onlookers aren’t empowered to injure someone for being a loud hateful asshole.
Not defending this belligerent dick. He was definitely shouting slurs and being provocative. But snatching someone’s glasses off their face like that is either theft or (if he destroyed/discarded them immediately, destruction of property.
Looked like he got tripped the second time?
Cannot stress enough how entirely this overprivileged chowderhead needs to be kept as far away as possible from anything to do with actual Democratic Party decision-making or direction. If he wants to continue giving money, fine. If he insists upon privileges for it, no www.wired.com/story/the-bi...
Mark Cuban Would Still Have Dinner With Donald Trump
The billionaire investor campaigned for Kamala Harris, but thinks tech execs have a “moral imperative” to play nice with the president. Why? It’s good business.

I wonder whether Mamdani is consciously ghosting Ackman, or if he just doesn’t care about Ackman’s pathetic “debate me, bro” attempted bullying. Note: either is fine with me.
Been a while, the date is fast approaching and the field has narrowed, so circling back: picked a candidate to vote for yet?
I don’t know, but I do suspect it is done as a calculated strategy to provoke Venezuela into some act that can be (mis)construed as an attack which would allow actual war to be declared — public opinion tends to give wide latitude to Presidents at war, and concurrent bumps in approval.
Wait, a battle between good vs evil *and what*?
Less confusing and easier to fit in the title than “a statement from some guy named Andrew?”
I love it when the quarterback kicks a home run through the hoop.
Love that professional sleazy asshole Jack Posobiec got featured *dead last* in this, I’m sure it’s eating him inside.
🫤 Can’t say I’ve been there but I can imagine I’d feel that way sometimes too. I’m sorry.
I’m not trying to be obtuse. The screenshots posted said not just data usually contained in a doxxing (full name, SSN, address, etc) were obtained, but numerous unique passwords for the victim’s accounts as well. Someone suggested that’s because DOGE exported government data from SSA.
Those are data, not metadata - and not exclusive to the feds. And I still don’t see how any or all of that gets you all of someone’s (by their own telling) unique-for-each-site/service passwords.
The kicker is, if areas that Brooks considers red or even purple have these protests or other visible, sustained opposition to GOP authoritarianism, Brooks will simply rhetorically waft palms and sigh “I just don’t recognize this country anymore.”
Dude! Please issue a David Brooks warning so those of us familiar with his work since the Applebee’s salad bar days can avoid rewarding that with a click.

What is “federal metadata,” and how would it be used to uncover individual citizens’ unique (according to them) passwords across multiple sites? Please be specific.
SSA does not have people’s unique passwords to various sites.
I don’t assume it’s impossible, but I do wonder: how would that be delivered?
Maybe. Most spyware requires an affirmative action on the part of the intended victim: clicking a link in a phishing email, etc. There aren’t a lot of zero-click attacks out there that we know of, and the ones that exist tend to be expensive and exclusive.
