Without a doubt whatsoever.
Educated guess that he didn't get permission to use this song from @a7x.bsky.social ........ and utterly missed the whole point of it. 🙄
Studies have shown exposure to PFNA (C9) can lead to various health effects including cancer, liver damage, immune system suppression, hormonal disruptions, and positively correlated with miscarriage... but nothing to see here, huh? (long-chain #PFAS are more bioaccumulative)
"Review of nearly 500 studies, published last month [09/25] in Nature Reviews Urology, shows that these endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) may act as potential prostate carcinogens." Are 500 studies not enough? #PFAS Prostate cancer 2ND most common cancer among men

The EPA is moving to weaken that rule—including rescinding the limits for 4 of those #PFAS chemicals & delaying limits on the other two. The all but certain result? More of these chemicals will find their way into our drinking water, and stay there.

Booooo! 😡 @governor.ca.gov just sided w/ the chemical industry over Californians’ health. By vetoing SB682, he kept toxic #PFAS in cookware.

Six other states & retailers like Target have already transitioned away from PFAS toward safer solutions like cast iron. He should have ensured CA did too.

The petrochemical industry is expanding production of PFAS in response to the data center boom, betting that the tech industry's toxic chemical releases face no serious prospect of regulation under the Trump regime. But campaigners know that the states have a powerful role.

An EPA report found that the forever chemical PFNA interferes with human development and likely causes damage to the liver and male reproductive systems.

The agency has sat on the report for months. “Scientifically, it was done,” said one scientist.

Studies have shown that shorter-chain PFAS are already prevalent inside homes and bodies in the U.S. And because of their potential to persist in the environment, by the time we learn about their dangers, it may be too late.
