Creeping fundamentalism. British religious tradition has never embraced evangelicalism so they may find the UK a tougher but to crack than the US.
My worry is though that the young people who appear to be turning to religion are more susceptible to it.

For the 50 yrs I've been voting, in my conversations with right of centre friends it's always been 'anyone but Labour'. I'm a Liberal of the TH Green variety (without the religion) and in the same vein, 'anyone but the tories', vote Labour.
So it may be populist but it's still 'anyone but Labour'.
