Separate but related, we should fundamentally dismantle ICE as it currently exists. Their budget is far too big and whatever agency remains (if any) should be heavily restricted in what they are allowed to do and heavily monitored(and punished) for human rights abuses.

Just as a reminder. Deployment of this (and similar) toxic gas agents were banned from use in war 100 years ago by the Geneva Protocol! But we are allowing cops to use it on a bunch of peaceful protestors because "dear leader" doesn't like their "tone"

It is absolute madness.

We need to push for a federal ban on the use of tear gas on civilians and in civilian areas. It's unacceptable.

Just think about this, they dropped so much tear gas near the ICE center that a school had to close because it had become toxified by the residue and was unsafe for the kids.

[3/5] Most storytelling we do in our daily lives is of this second kind, and I'd argue that most TTRPGs – certainly nearly all "trad" RPGs – are likewise oriented toward this kind of story. The rules are *weird shit generators*, and interpreting the outputs of the rules is what *produces the story*.

My hot take is that none of these are structure. These are all recipes that describe structure.

Structure is the Salt, Fat, Acid Heat of writing.

3-Act/Hero's Journey etc are recipes.

You can make great meals without using a recipe if you understand the principles of structure.

What you're getting from an LLM is a statistical approximation of what the answer would be to a statistical approximation of the question.

This is why prompt engineering is fake. The prompt (and any input data) is just a suggestion - and helps fool you into thinking that your question was answered.

Just like consistently bringing him close to his dreams and giving him the chance to be a better person, each time punishing him worse. I'm sure the luck god kinda tries to be a little kinder to the Gallagher kids but the grudge against Frank is so great that karmic justice against him trumps all.

Slowly doing a Shameless (U.S.) rewatch and am becoming increasingly convinced of my theory that Frank Gallagher once met a demon/god of luck and somehow outwit them in a drinking game(not that he remembers) and so now he can't ever die but has circular/ironic bad luck so bad it hits his kids too.
