They’re all terrible, but save some hate for Barrett: if she’d had a shred of integrity she’d have turned down the nomination. Transactional trash.
This Supreme Court case in Louisiana is about one thing, and one thing only: reinstituting Jim Crow by way of ensuring that Black Americans are taxed without receiving representation in Congress.

Everything else is noise and bluster.

This stolen Supreme Court is going to send us back to the 1860s.
People did this. Jews went along or supported it. it’s not ok.
There are horribly racist Zionists.
The idea that all Zs are the same and that they are WORSE than other racists is Western offloading of whiteness onto Jews and it’s poisonous and a distraction from the hard work of a just peace.
Fascinating.
I've never met anyone more proud of their racism than a Zionist.

Even my toothless Uncle Billy Bob tries to hide his racism towards anyone who isn't vanilla.
That was supposed to say “ANTIFA.”
(And I’m certainly not defending people saying you should die)
I’m not defending Jewish institutions.
and women mansplain, too — it’s a behavior. A friend compared it to male-pattern baldness: a male trait that some women also have.
For worse. People worked hard to perpetuate that belief, while sitting comfortably (ok, well, before the election) in the US. Anti-occupation Jewish students were barred from progressive circles bc of this.
The number of non-Jews who mansplain to me about the hx of Zionism is staggering.
Same 20-25 percent who voted for him.
This.
As long as I live, I will never forgive Mitch McConnell for both causing irreparable damage to the Supreme Court, and not voting to convict Donald Trump.

I thought PA was in — concerned.
The goal of focusing on Zionism rather than conduct is an obstacle to coalition building in Israel and in the US, because what you might describe as anti-Zionism is another person’s Zionism.
They don’t, though. They should: I’d support them. Boycotting Standing Together is only productive if your goal is to make people hate Israelis rather than making change.
I want justice, safety and peace for Palestinians.
I also want it for Israelis.
Francesca Albanese is not a hero and I am exhausted by the way a whole generation is in her thrall, and … I don’t blame them. Thanks, Netanyahu.
You should not have done that right before my bedtime
Parents of NT kids, my ND 19-year-old took Amtrak by herself home for fall break and got to the train station hours early because her last class ended before she'd thought and she changed her ticket (and got a $22 refund for me, since it was my card).

This is a BFD.

I was prepared for Roe. For years I was prepared for Roe falling. I was not prepared for “the 14th and 15th Amendments preclude enforcing the Voting Rights Act because it’s anti-white discrimination.”

Any white grievance you have? SCOTUS is here for you.

But Black people? We can go fuck ourselves.
I quit grad school when I was 29, did random jobs for two year, and went to law school (at a public interest-y school).

I used a hard copy of What Color is My Parachute, which I recommend.
What that nice-looking man John Roberts has been salivating over for years.
HAPPENING SOON: SCOTUS will hear arguments in a case that could end one of the last safeguards against racial gerrymanders, and lock in GOP control of the U.S. House for generations to come. We’ll be providing real-time court updates at the blog below👇
