[P] Film professor discussing auteur theory back in 1990 praised Ridley Scott’s use of voiceover in BLADE RUNNER to evoke film noir. I meekly noted I’d read that the studio forced him to add the VO and Scott hated it; prof dismissed it as nonsense. Director’s cut (sans VO) came out 2 years later.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.
