But unless I'm mistaken you were talking about THE ENTIRE POKEMON ROSTER, which is like having all the enemies and bosses of an entire game revealed. And this is speaking as a FORMER pokemon fan.

You want just the battling right? Have every Pokemon ever. No catching required. Showdown is unofficial and in browser, and Pokemon Champions is official and will be on mobile and Switch.
