The sad thing is, as they've shown with Brexit, Reform simply don't care how many lives they ruin. They work for oligarchs and billionaires. The wellbeing of anyone else is firmly last on their list.

"With all the rhetoric that you bring in, I have to say to my sons, please don't go there. Please don't do this."

"I blame you for that."

And the main reason to want to breach human rights is when you don’t consider someone - or a class of people - to be human.

In general, there’s only one reason why something might breach the ECHR. It’s because it breaches human rights.

We don't have blind faith, which is how the word 'trust' is misused here. We get them to peer review each other. We check for consensus. We collect data on what happens when their advice is acted on and other experts review that in an endless feedback cycle of mostly improving knowledge.
RFK Jr: We need to stop trusting the experts... Trusting the experts is not a feature of science or democracy, it's a feature of religion and totalitarianism.

Reminder that any political party trying to make it harder to vote is sending a clear message: they can't win on their ideas alone.

Tugendhat didn’t even back Sunak! He backed Truss. She didn’t even put him in the cabinet. This has the same level of “intelligence” as a junior public affairs chump.

Not really the main point for these witnesses statements but this is unbelievably low grade stuff to be passing on.

Tugendhat did not in fact get a cabinet job and Jeremy Hunt endorsed Rishi Sunak. Did the Chinese realise how crap all this intelligence was?

Hey American farmers, Trump just doubled Argentina's bailout from $20 billion to $40 billion.

That's the same Argentina that, because of Trump's tariffs, has now supplanted ALL of America's soybean sales to China.

Trump sold you out – then gave the guy who benefited an extra $40 billion gift.
Can’t help thinking Cummings is trying to deflect from the Russian influence on the Tories and Reform. We need to remember Cummings spent time in Russia.
